Community Drawing Project | 2023

Timelines was a collective drawing project that prompted participants to look closely at nature and draw together. It was completed by artists of all ages at Harwood Art Center during 3 different community events: Encompass 2022, Somos Music and Arts Festival 2022, and Encompass 2023. Participants looked at found objects from surrounding landscapes such as leaves, branches, rocks, etc. then composed abstracted patterns based on their objects. The resulting work will is a chronology documenting the different ways our community sees and depicts nature.
